Startup Weekend Louisville

startup weekend is a global framework for bringing together people in the community over a weekend to turn an idea into a business. participants, mentors, judges and volunteers come together over 54 hours to whittle down, validate, and execute the best ideas. startup weekend louisville is led by a team of volunteer organizers from the louisville business, academic, and entrepreneurial community. louisville’s first startup weekend was in 2012 and gathered about 40 attendees (39 men and 1 woman). city anchor, lead by dave durand was the chosen winner for the first event. louisville has continuously hosted startup weekend twice a year since then, and in spring 2017 we celebrated our 10th consecutive event, a milestone no other team has yet achieved. want to contribute? email us anytime at organizers@startupweekendlouisville.com. we’re always looking for volunteers and community support to help financially (to pay for food and supplies) or through in kind services to support the entreprene
