startyouup (syu) association was established in may 2016 to find innovative ways to extinguish the gaps that keep brilliant people away from realizing their projects, with a focus on students and graduates. as for 2017, syu organizes 3 original activities in collaboration with the university of bologna: > startup day (www.startupday.it) is the event that allows startuppers (people with new ideas) and players (people with to meet each other. because an idea, without a team, has no future. participants are introduced to supporters (such as incubators, accelerators, business angels, venture capital) and can listen to speakers (entrepreneurs sharing their experiences). the first startup day took place in june 2015. the first 2 editions counted more than 2500 participants, 266 ideas applied and 66 selected, more than 30 supporters and 8 speakers > the ignition program is meant to support all year long teams of wanna-be startuppers in their problem-solution fit challenge, when no private inv
