State Savings Bank of Tajikistan "Amonatbank"

- founded in 1925. november, 1998 given a status of state bank. - member of the wsbi (2004, brussels); - a member of swift and connected up to swift; - since 2008 a member of interbank consortium of sco and associated member of international pay system visa international; - the only regulated bank that reaches down to commune and village level; - has network of branches all over the republic: 5 spacial, 70 city and district branches and 502 agencies; - offers services like: delivery of pension, salary of budget organizations, delivery of compensations to the poor families, spreading the bonds and offering other services that allows amonatbonk touch many more households than those actually maintaining active savings accounts with it but even in those households there are people who remember having a savings account with the old state savings bank.
