State Treasury of Ukraine

the state treasury of ukraine was founded under jurisdiction of the ministry of finance of ukraine by decree of the president of ukraine no. 335 of april 27, 1995 (as amended by president’s decrees no. 70/99 of january 27, 1999 and no. 173/99 of february 15, 1999) in order to secure effective management of funds of the state budget of ukraine, improve efficiency of financing expenses out of funds of the state budget of ukraine. pursuant to the decree of the president of ukraine no. 335 of april 27, 1995 the cabinet of ministers of ukraine adopted resolution no. 590 of july 31, 1995 “on the state treasury of ukraine” (as amended by resolutions of the cabinet of ministers of ukraine no. 656 of june 28, 1997 and no 180 of january 17, 1999) approving the statutes of the state treasury of ukraine. the statutes provide that the state treasury of ukraine shall be a part of the executive authority system in ukraine and shall, in pursuance of activities thereof, be governed by the constitution
