state yoga was set up in the wake of the pandemic in highgate, north london. founded by yoga teacher and mindfulness expert jessica stewart in august 2020, state yoga’s driving vision is to create a wellbeing hub where people can practice and learn the tools to thrive. we believe yoga is ‘medicine’: that through our classes, you can learn to take (body/breath.mind) techniques off the mat to rebalance your energy levels throughout the day and night; to energise when tired, to ground you when feeling anxious and to manage pain and stress.
