in 1959, william heavrin started his business working out of the basement of his row home in baltimore city. he specialized in sheet metal including roofing, gutters and spouting. the company expanded over the years, and in 1972 he built the building we are presently occupying. in 1973, brothers dan and dave started working full time. in 1979, statewide contracting services, inc. was founded. at scsi we perform all aspects of commercial and retail hvac work including in-house sheet metal fabrication and installation of hvac systems, ductwork, refrigerant piping, insulation, and automatic temperature control. scsi is proud to provide our customers with the highest quality standards available throughout all facets of our operations. from hvac installation to emergency repairs, across projects ranging from small retail storefronts up to city and state government buildings and large industrial warehouses and factories. scsi has completed projects in all values up to and above $1 million. o
