statik music bio statikmusic was formed on december 30th 2008, by skully, allone and ril, after discovering the same love for creating beats. the name statikmusic was chosen because of their use of static also known as crackle, their signature in beats. with a background in marketing by skully and ril they looked at what the best approach in the music industry was, looking for lee stuart, the editor in chief of state magazine at the time. through a portfolio night at pakhuis de zwijger, they stepped to stuart with confidence. stuart gave out his info and they sent him a proposal for a beattape. being persistant statikmusic ended up in hilversum for a meeting with stuart. on june 30th 2009, statikmusic had their cover article for statemagazine with their beattape called “state-ik”, which was also spread through other hip hop sites in holland. the follow-up resulted in september 2009 through an invitation for the redbull beatbattle, with big names such as presto, hayzee, fs green and int
