stay outdoors will be the premier website and app for arranging outdoor vacations, finding campsites, cabins, houseboat rentals or even hunting and fishing expeditions upon it's launch in late 2015. founders mike & sarah jirak have always enjoyed traveling the world in an adventurous way but were frustrated with the lack of available information and difficulty in booking stays at campgrounds and resorts across america. sarah began searching for a website like those already popularized by the hotel and flight industry, then quickly realized that it just wasn't out there. not only was the information not collected or organized in any cohesive manner, but much of the information she discovered to be out-of-date, incomplete, or just plain incorrect. this experience led to the jiraks'​ quest to begin collecting those details for the tens of thousands of campgrounds and resorts across the us, now providing those travelers who want to "stay outdoors"​ with a better connection to the locations
