sport and competing were something i grew up with, and as a former welsh national team judo player, i am no stranger to competitive sport. being a former royal marine, i have endured extreme physical and mental endurance and know the level of discipline it takes to excel in order to achieve desired outcomes. my competitive judo slowly became more coaching based which also led me to the mma world that allowed me to adapt and integrate these training systems into my the strength & conditioning programs i use today. my career working as a personal trainer started in 2011 whilst living as a permanent resident in france and being a member of the french judo federation. i later returned to the uk working for dw sports & fitness first gyms which allowed me to pass on my own past experience as an athlete, and the knowledge acquired from working with world class coaches and training teams over the years. following an achilles rupture in 2016, fate put me on a different path where steel box gyms
