after graduating with a degree in audio engineering from the center of media arts in new york city, tim got the 'itch' to start teaching after studying with the drummer, educator, and senior drum editor for hudson music and drum guru, joe bergamini. from that point on, tim has seen the amazing transformative power that unfolds when a beginner student starts to learn that playing an instrument not only teaches discipline but also offers a safe and creative way to express themselves. until recently, tim has only offered lessons and workshops to select private clients, but all of that changed after learning about the philosophy and mission of steele music studios.
