as an industry we need to tackle the loss of talen, and the steer development programme (sdp) has been developed to provide support for university students who are transitioning from education into a built environment career. the steer values are targetted at reducing the skills gap by promoting diversity and inclusion in mentoring relationships and professional networking. we work by: - highlighting built environment opportunities and career options - deliver support for students transitioning from education into industry - build confidence amongst the underrepresented social groups - establish and promote networking opportunities between students and professionals
