steeves advisory inc. was established in 2012 to offer public sector managers a different style of consulting services. company president, esther steeves, observed that consultants are often hired when clients lack the internal resources to take on additional work themself, and often address issues that are too controversial to be dealt with in-house. while consultants provide invaluable services in these situations, catalyzing decisions and moving processes forward; in many cases the consulting team is the main beneficiary of new learning and skills generated during a project. this is great for the consultants, since it often leads to follow-on work. however, it is less great for the client – especially when the client is trying to lead change or build capacity inside their organization. and these days, who isn’t? steeves advisory strives to deliver a new take on conventional consulting services. we see our role as two-fold: to complete our contract requirements according to the highe
