stefan shaw studio was established by london born stefan shaw in 2018 following 10 years as creative lead for the award-winning studio egret west. the cross disciplinary studio of international designers blends placemaking and a crafted approach to architecture in the evolving context of our cities and spaces. our projects are wide varied, rooted in context and the result of a diverse and constructive discourse with our clients. growing from a curiosity in people and communities our works complement the existing composition of our built environment. developing a narrative through curiosity the studio adds creative value to each endeavour. our methodology is inquisitive and courageous, and while technological our approach involves the most traditional methods of sketching and model making to explore the relationship of space and light. we believe the skill of making buildings to be specialist, but that personal experience is universal. it is from a human-centric approach to desig
