the steffey hatoway insurance agency formed following the successful merger, and subsequent acquisitions by two long-standing indiana insurance brokers, steffey insurance agency and insurance professionals. insurance professionals, founded by the hatoway family, was established in the early 1970's, about the same time as the steffey family founded steffey insurance agency. the merger of these two companies, that were both built on the principle of putting their clients and employees first, helped to offer a wider variety of product lines to customers, as well as having more people in key positions. with multiple offices in indiana, ohio, and pennsylvania, steffey hatoway currently retains clients in nearly a dozen states throughout the mid west, mid south, and mid atlantic regions.
