Stem Ambassadors in Scotland

stem ambassadors are volunteers from a wide range of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (stem) related jobs and disciplines across the uk. they offer their time and enthusiasm to help bring stem subjects to life and demonstrate the value of them in life and careers. the three scottish hubs have responsibility for the stem ambassadors in each of their regions: aberdeen science centre manages the north of scotland, science connects the west of scotland, and stem ambassador east @ sserc the east of scotland. as an employer, you can make a real difference to young people's perception of stem subjects and careers. by engaging with the stem ambassador programme you can: - provide direct support to stem teachers - provide specific and sectorial careers information to young people and their influencers - engage and develop your staff - raise awareness of your work within your local community - engage the media regionally and nationally - promote apprentice roles direc
