stem effect is a nonprofit organization that wants to help the youth of des moines and surrounding areas get exposed to science, technology, engineering, and math. opportunities in stem are growing exponentially, but unfortunately schools can’t afford to implement stem programs. that is where stem effect comes in. stem effect will work side by side with schools and educators to provide a great plan to get more kids involved with stem lessons. we also want to educate teachers about stem so they can continue to teach about stem in the future. there are so many companies that are looking for great scientists, engineers, programmers, or mathematicians. why are we not exposing our kids to this early in their education?
