vision: to be a leader in stem education, preparing and inspiring generations of learners to meet the challenges of the global society through innovation, collaboration, and creative problem solving. mission: to provide leadership, support, and resources to schools & individuals that will allow for the design and implementation of an effective stem program. how to do it? we’ll collaborate with colleges, universities, government agencies, businesses and industry partners to develop e-resources for stem teaching and learning. what is stem education? programs that are usually reserved for college-level classes being implemented in school classrooms. stem education attempts to transform the typical teacher-centered classroom by encouraging a curriculum that is driven by problem-solving, discovery, exploratory learning, and require students to actively engage a situation in order to find its solution.
