Stem & Buds

stem & buds has three goals: change the narrative behind stem, establish a lasting peer network, and create an inclusive and accessible stem environment. programming consists of after school chapters, summer camps, and outreach events ranging from tabling to partnering with local organizations. afterschool chapters consist of twelve, highschooler led, one-on-one sessions for stem exploration and project development/creation for an end-of-year science fair. summer programs follow a similar structure of executing and presenting a project. due to covid-19, as part of our outreach initiative, stem & buds is hosting cost-free online mentoring to help smoothly transition students into remote learning. check our work @stemandbuds on facebook, instagram, and twitter.
