Stem·e Youth Career Development Program

the stem·e youth career development program introduces and educates k-12 students in stem·e (science, technology, engineering, mathematics, entrepreneurship) career fields through their involvement with stem and entrepreneurship professionals, companies, and after-school programs and competition teams. goals: increase exposure of stem·e opportunities to houston area-wide students, with particular emphasis on underprivileged, underrepresented communities. educate houston-wide students in stem·e professions, with exposure to education, experience, and career avenues and opportunities to enhance career development. improve scholastic success of all students, providing a sound foundation for career and financial success in the future. expand the stem·e-capable workforce with increased representation by women and minorities. expose students to stem·e companies and potential internship, mentorship, and workshop opportunities. increase student enrollment in stem·e after-school and competitio
