during the covid-19 pandemic, our team recognized that the pre-collegiate educational system was in disarray. a hybrid model of learning emerged as the solution, but it became clear that even this was still insufficient for optimal learning. in low income areas - where many schools were disorganized even before the pandemic hit - students inevitably fell even further behind, as private tutoring is often cost-prohibitive. we created two programs with the goal of providing relief for these students and their teachers. insights - an interview series with leaders in their respective fields stempod tutoring - highly qualified tutors help students in sciences for free
