i founded step stone languages on one basic principle: hard work should pay off, no matter what language it's in. all over the world, people are researching, innovating, and producing big ideas worth knowing. yet for many, if these ideas aren't expressed in english, they may not get read, heard, or given the attention they deserve in certain contexts. english plays a role in science and business; in academia and on the internet. it lives in our soil and in our clouds, shaping how, where, and why we do the work that we do. its impact is inevitable, but it doesn’t have to be invasive. i believe english can be used to make a positive social impact. i started step stone languages after a decade of helping clients work and network. together we have built multilingual bridges that have led to publications, promotions, and more meaningful relationships than i can count. empowered with english, they have made a positive difference in their lives and in the lives of others.
