why step-teambuilding? at step-teambuilding our coaches and facilitators have all benefitted from serving at the royal air force’s leadership academy where, as a minimum we qualified to the l3 award in education & training. we also hold cmi l5 diplomas in business coaching & mentoring as well as various facilitation qualifications such as mobile team challenge, belbin psychometric profiling, brathay facilitation techniques and high/low ropes course facilitation. combined with our experience in the military, we bring team building activities for work, sports clubs, educational establishments and youth organisations. detached from the military, leadership and team development is a vast industry; a 2012 study found that american companies alone spend almost $14 billion annually on leadership development training however the majority of this training (run by internal hr) is not contextualised leading to a low retention of knowledge (30%). at step we aim to increase the odds of success by m
