the cell is a stand-alone fixture, which will be positioned within the present production of the user. it is a new concept, based on a innovation workshop, where we collected and joined new input from the sales and construction department. the soles are placed on a conveyor belt and automatically scanned. the sole is then sprayed by the robot, automatically and with highest precision. the cell works with common sole materials and the robot sprays a choice of adhesives, reactive hot melts or water-based adhesives. a future-oriented technology, that offers an automated process where men are likely to be exposed unhealthy working conditions.
