since i started playing i’ve had a passion for pedals. from early on i’ve used them as a foundation for my overall tone. in 2008 i was able to start a business selling boutique effects from small one man shops. while running step up guitars i developed several great relationships with builders, one of which was ryan kirkland. in 2011 i started working full time with ryan learning to build high end fuzz and overdrive pedals. i learned invaluable lessons during that time on what it takes to make high quality great sounding pedals. i am forever grateful to ryan for his help pushing me into the “other side” of the pedal world. in june 2012 i started stephen douglas design. the goal of stephen douglas design is and always will be to provide great tone without compromising quality. you can expect service above and beyond every time. all pedals have a lifetime warranty, whether you’re the original owner or not. the best lesson i learned in my time working for someone else in the ind
