welcome to the stepping out family! stepping out studios (so) originally opened in 1985 as a small, boutique studio with big ideas and big dreams. from the beginning, our mission has been to introduce and spread the joy of partner dancing far and wide. to that end, we offer a full range of classes in partner dancing – including both social and competitive styles of ballroom dancing, argentine tango, swing, salsa, hustle, and country western. we strive to provide a fun and friendly environment in welcoming students of all backgrounds, professions, cultures, and walks of life, and cater to wedding couples and competitive and social dancers alike at every level, from those preparing for one special event, to those focused on honing their dance technique, to those “party animals” who want to cut loose with a night out dancing at any of our many parties. stepping out’s credo is one of innovation, integrity, and warmth. we strive for excellence and feature instructors and resident coaches wh
