this is an online support group for parents with special needs children. it is not for any specific condition but just a place for one to share, ask, vent and most of all know that they are not alone. we also raise awareness on rare disease day. this is an annual, awareness-raising event co-ordinated by eurordis at the international level and by national alliances and patient organisations at the national level. it is held on the last day of february each year since 2008. the main objective of rare disease day is to raise awareness amongst the general public and decision-makers about rare diseases and their impact on patients’ lives.
