Sterling Frameworks
sterling frameworks is a young innovative company with a clear goal: reducing worldwide bike theft. in holland alone 900 thousand bikes are stolen every year. that is 90% of the total amount of bikes sold per year. we believe that the current locks on the market are not satisfying the needs of consumers. every lock available can be destroyed with a simple grinder. our goal was to create a lock that will make bike theft as unrewarding as possible. to reach this goal, we created a lock that is integrated within the bicycle frame. this creates a situation where the lock is unreachable for any kind of grinder, saw or other tool, unless you were to demolish the bicycle frame and thus destroying the bike itself. this revolutionary bike lock will block the movement of your pedals and it comes in combination with a plug-in chain lock, so it can be secured to external objects. we will launch our project on kickstarter around august 2015. here we will reward backers with a custom designed fixed
