stern & associates, inc. initially specialized in the recruiting of health information management positions with acute care hospitals throughout the united states. in april of 2002, the company expanded their focus to include nursing leadership positions (vice presidents and directors of quality management, case management, risk management, infection control, and others) and subsequently healthcare executive positions in acute care hospitals (vice presidents and directors of revenue cycle, information technology, patient financial services, human resources, materials management, social work, and others). today stern & associates has now worked with over 3,000 hospitals scattered throughout the country, and they are a preferred vendor with over two dozen hospital systems. during the past twelve years, they have also built up a database of over 40,000 active candidates who are happily employed, however, are open to hear about advancement opportunities.
