nautical life runs deep through our family heritage dating back to 1760, where my ancestors set a high standard in ship building and sail making in mystic, connecticut. today, we carry on that same tradition in maine as we craft a unique and rugged line of nautically inspired products. every product that we create here at sternlines tells a different story as to where the material originated from. although the patterns may be similar, no two are ever the same! often times, what ends up on your doorstep or dock was just reclaimed here in new england a few short days or weeks prior to its arrival at your home!
