steve colori was born in 1986 and grew up in rural massachusetts. at age 19 while attending the university of new hampshire he began losing his mental health and was first diagnosed with schizophrenia at age 22. two years later his second and last episode occurred at age 24 and this time he was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder. during the next several years of his life steve worked hard with multiple forms of therapy to overcome the disorder. one of the most important therapies he used was writing therapy. he wanted to become a writer and decided to write a memoir which was paramount in his recovery from schizoaffective disorder and his advance beyond it. steve now writes freelance psychology articles for mclean hospital's doctors and has been doing so since 2011, he has published thirteen essays with oxford medical journals, and his memoir experiencing and overcoming schizoaffective disorder is available on amazon and barnes&noble and with multiple book sellers. steve al
