as a photojournalist, i have traveled the world capturing everything from our nation’s capital to paris france. in 2009 i decided to expand my repertoire and partnered with "beauty through a photograph", a seattle based wedding photographer. after several weddings and a robust client base, i branched off to transform steve ellmore studios from freelance work to sole proprietorship. in 2012 i retired from the u.s. air force and settled down in upper marlboro, maryland. today steve ellmore studios serves the greater dc metro area and more, including washington d.c., virginia, maryland, west virginia and delaware.
