i've been around in the photo biz for quite a while, in fact i've been shooting professionally for over 25 years now. i studied photography at the art center college of design and then immediately moved to new york city. the education received at accd was a great foundation, but there's nothing like being thrown out into the real world of commercial photography to learn what it's all about. in nyc i learned to photograph everything from celebrities, to cars, to resorts, to vodka bottles and bras – sometimes all of the above at once. while home furnishings was considered my specialty, i was hired because of my skills and understanding of working with light and composition. i make things look as good as they possibly can, before they are put in a computer. my client list in nyc included at&t, ibm, toshiba, house beautiful, family circle, woman's day, chiat-day, disney, cooper-hewitt museum, dakota jackson, various design firms, agencies, museums and the leading antique and antiquity
