stevenage haven is a registered charity providing shelter and support for single, homeless people in stevenage, north herts and the surrounding area. we manage a 40 bed hostel in stevenage, a 16 bed hostel in hitchin and 10 move on properties in stevenage. we encourage our clients, not just to get back on their feet, but to move on into secure and settled lives in the local community. key to how we work is helping in a sustainable way and thus break the often familiar cycle of homelessness. through our dedicated team of staff, trustees and volunteers we operate two hostels, the haven in stevenage and the sanctuary in hitchin, and manage 10 move-on properties, transforming the lives of around 150 people every year.
