stfu was formed after its founder, jon mitchell, recovered from years of drug and alcohol abuse and found solace in fitness. his belief is that you can start anywhere, from fresh out of rehab, an illness, relationship, personal loss or any life event leaving you feeling powerless and unmotivated, to simply being stuck in a health rut. there is always room to grow if you learn to train with purpose and program specificity. through years of trial and error, he found that varied, functional movements in the form of high intensity workouts were not only physically beneficial, but really f*cking fun. jon found his way onto a spartan race course a couple of years ago and noticed that these particular athletes balanced speed, endurance, strength, skill and power into one explosive force he had never seen before, thus leading him to develop the stfu fitness system. the stfu team believe that fitness is a human right. the problem is we are mislead, lied to, manipulated and flat out robbed by th
