St George's House, Windsor Castle

st george’s house was founded in 1966 by h.r.h. the duke of edinburgh and the then dean of windsor, robin woods, as a place where people of influence and responsibility in every area of society can come together to explore and communicate their views and analysis of contemporary issues. exemplary leadership is central to the wellbeing of any modern society. st george’s house is perfectly placed to nurture such leadership, something that has long been an interest of our founder. 2016 marked the fiftieth anniversary of the founding of st george’s house. a new, carefully crafted leadership programme was an appropriate way to celebrate such a milestone, to set in place a strand of activity that will make an effective and enduring contribution to society for the next fifty years and beyond. the aim of the society is to enable individuals in a wide range of leadership positions to draw on the resources and the space that we offer as a house to support them in their own development as leaders
