stichting bondeko draagt congo een warm hart toe en speciaal de bevolking in de mombesa en meer specifiek de omgeving van bondamba. de regio bondamba is ruim 2000 km2 groot en bestaat voor het grootste deel uit oerwoud. langs een pad liggen een tiental dorpen. in het oerwoud wonen groepen pygmeeën in kampen (o.a. loinzi, likolo en ekipe). de jarenlange oorlog in congo sloeg diepe wonden. onderwijs en gezondheidszorg zijn in zeer slechte staat. bondeko steunt andré babusia bij de wederopbouw. met steun van bondeko worden o.a. alfabetiseringscentra gerealiseerd, leren vrouwen naaien, is een medische post gebouwd van waaruit twee verpleegkundigen de bevolking in de dorpen en het oerwoud bijstaan en wordt kinderopvang opgestart.
