small non governmental organization specialized in family empowerment, health & education and crisis aid in africa. stichting circle4life is ontstaan vanuit particuliere sponsoracties. omdat de behoefte aan hulp zo groot is, ontstond al snel het idee om hier meer mee te doen. de steun aan het gezin van peter mutiso was de aanleiding deze stichting op te richten. een jongetje van tien jaar oud en al lang niet meer op school geweest. gezocht door de maatschappelijk werker van een project uit de omgeving van thika. na drie maanden vond hij hem bij toeval terug in de bergen. het gezin bleek verhuisd, gedwongen door zeer nare omstandigheden. de hutjes stonden op instorten, peter ging niet meer naar school om zijn moeder te helpen met zoeken naar voedsel en het maken van houtskool om zo iets te kunnen verkopen en eten in ruil daarvoor te kunnen kopen. de actie die met behulp van de lokale media tot stand kwam, was een groot succes en inmiddels zijn al meerdere gezinnen en kinderen geholpen.
