connect international serves the international community in the northern netherlands for almost 20 years. our ultimate goal is to help internationals coming to live in the provinces of groningen, friesland and drenthe to feel at home as quickly as possible. to reach this goal we focus on the following services and activities: we organize events in english where expats can meet each other and get first-hand information about life in the netherlands. we offer personal advice and practical information to help newly arrived expats to navigate through complex matters of settling, living and working in the netherlands. we educate dutch companies and their international staff about intercultural differences they might encounter on the work floor and in daily life. we inform our members about the most important and interesting happenings in the region to empower them with knowledge, even if they do not speak dutch (yet). we share our knowledge and resources with the international welcome cente
