stichting de aanloop organiseert activiteiten voor mensen met een verstandelijke en/of een lichamelijk beperking. sommige worden in het clubgebouw aan de kruisweg 622 in hoofddorp gehouden: het rolstoeldansen, het toneel, de vaksoos en de instuif. andere zijn buiten het clubgebouw zoals: paardrijden,sportief bewegen en zwemmen. wekelijks maken 250 deelnemers gebruik van de verschillende activiteiten. dit wordt mogelijk gemaakt door de, enthousiaste, inzet van 90 vrijwilligers. de stichting is qua inkomsten afhankelijk van subsidies van de overheid en giften. iedereen verleent zijn diensten pro deo. de stichting is volledig afhankelijk van de inzet van vrijwilligers.
