stichting erato muzikaal contact organiseert sinds 2010 kleinschalige muziekoptredens met 25 professionele musici bij diverse zorgcentra in limburg. het doel van de stichting is om een stukje blijdschap en momenten van herkenning te creëren bij zorgafhankelijke mensen. de afgelopen 10 jaar zijn meer dan 7500 optredens georganiseerd en werden meer dan 100.000 bewoners en verzorgers verrast met de optredens. deze concerten kunnen alleen worden mogelijk gemaakt door donaties en sponsoring. door de maatregelen rondom het corona virus worden de optredens volgens de geldende maatregelen aangepast en worden er tevens buitenconcerten georganiseerd. zo kunnen de muzikanten toch veel bewoners een geluksmomentje bezorgen.
