"de wieg van de nederlandse schilderskunst staat in gelderland"​ kort na haar oprichting organiseerde de stichting in samenwerking met museum het valkhof in 2005 de tentoonstelling: meesters aan het franse hof 1400-1416. sindsdien is er elk jaar, in het laatste weekend van augustus, in de binnenstad van nijmegen een evenement ten teken van het werk en leven van de gebroeders van limburg.
