grass is a dutch non-profit organization, which develops innovative projects and products in the field of youth participation. the grass foundation aims to empower young people to develop their skills, their dreams and to help them to be in control of their own lives. we do this by using the diy-philosophy (do it yourself). we firmly believe that when young people, can are able to address problems, in their own voice and with the tools and skills they see fit, their opinions, ideas and solutions for the world around them are stronger, less diluted, and more usable. the grass foundation makes use of modern day ict technology to assist youngsters to voice their opinions. social media, online and offline are universal in their appeal to young people. grass delivers and trains people in the use of these instruments. they supply the content. we use new applications like twitter, facebook, location-based tools to engage in discussions, voting and implementation of projects. internet and othe
