doelstelling het hsf is in 2012 opgericht en wil zich ontwikkelen tot een organisatie die het volgende doel heeft: ontwikkeling van muzikaal talent door het uitlenen van instrumenten aan musici. de nadruk ligt hierbij op het helpen van jong talent, conservatoriumstudenten en beroepsmusici. zo wil het hsf het muziekleven ondersteunen. wat doet het hsf? als musicus moet je werkelijk alles op alles zetten om een sterke positie in het rijke nederlandse muziekleven en de internationaal concurrerende markt te verwerven. ook al heb je talent, doorzettingsvermogen en een goede begeleiding; dat is niet voldoende. ook het bespelen van een kwalitatief goed instrument is cruciaal, terwijl het daar nou juist vaak aan ontbreekt. puur vanwege de hoge prijzen.
