Stichting Mriya

on february 24, 2022, disaster struck ukraine. vladimir putin's army invaded the peaceful neighbor and started a brutal and devastating war. millions of people fled, mostly women with young children. they left their men and their dreams in ukraine. the mriya foundation wants to help them feel welcome and safe in the netherlands. we want to organize and activate them so that they can find support from each other. with the help of dutch volunteers we want to offer them opportunities to participate in our society. in this way we want to help them keep their dreams alive and work towards a future after the war in a free and rebuild ukraine. but now emergency aid is especially needed. mriya works closely together with volunteers in ukraine. the help in war zones with the distribution of food and medicine, the care of the wounded and the evacuation of civilians. mriya only works through people we know. this way we know for sure that all help will get to the right people.
