stichting saha ondersteunt sterke vrouwen in kaedi. kaedi is de hoofdstad van de regio gorgol in het zuiden van mauritanië, aan de grens met senegal in west-afrika. in kaedi draait een collectief van sterke vrouwen die voedselgewassen verbouwen, een textielververij runnen en verder zoeken naar mogelijkheden om de levensomstandigheden te verbeteren. dit collectief wil het regionale gezondheidscentrum in kaedi uitbreiden met een centrum voor moeder- en kindzorg. daarvoor zoeken zij ondersteuning in europa. mohamadou tandia is in kaedi geboren. tijdens zijn studie in de mauritaanse hoofdstad nouakchott kreeg hij zoveel problemen met de overheid dat hij naar nederland vertrok. hier deed hij hbo-verpleegkunde en hij werkt nu in de gezondheidszorg in nijmegen. hij is nu in kaedi aan het werk, en werkt samen met het vrouwencollectief van kaedi. een groep vrienden en vriendinnen in nijmegen richtte d stichting saha op om het collectief te ondersteunen met geld en expertise. wat kunt u doen? u
