de missie van de sponsorringen is om door middel van het jaarlijks uitreiken van prijzen voor dé beste sponsorcases het vakgebied sponsoring in de breedte te promoten en professionaliteit in de branche te stimuleren. de stichting sponsorringen tracht dit te bereiken door: • het opzetten en bewaken van een onafhankelijke en objectieve jureringproces dat leidt tot de uitreiking van prijzen aan sponsorcases die zich het afgelopen jaar hebben onderscheiden; • het publiceren van en over deze succesvolle sponsorcases; • het initiëren van activiteiten ten behoeve van de professionele ontwikkeling van het vakgebied sponsoring; • het stimuleren van innovatie en kennisuitwisseling in de branche. de sponsorring prijzen zijn een initiatief van de oud-sectie sponsoring van de gvr centrum voor marketingcommunicatie, de werkgroep sponsoring van de vea en het vakblad marketingtribune. in 2005 zijn de sponsorring prijzen ondergebracht in de stichting sponsorringen.
