stfa, the family member's foundation is dedicated to defending human rights in iran, saving defenseless hr activists and promoting links between the dutch and iranian society. we have so far been active in organizing and attending demonstrations, conferences, exhibitions and meetings to convey and be the voice of the oppressed in iran. as a result of the 1979 revolution in iran, a religious fundamentalist regime took power, which was the start to all atrocities, suppression and oppression of all sectors including women, youth, religious and ethnic minorities, labors, etc. thousands of people who just disagreed or opposed with the government were executed. women have no rights and are treated second class citizens, also being forced to cover and veil despite their will. following the new government, rohani, despite its moderate appearance, the number of executions increased tremendously, ranking second in the world, the majority of its victims being in young ages; suppression of women,
