gehandicapten hebben in peru een achterstand. een beroepsopleiding en baan, is vaak onbereikbaar. wayquis peru verschaft op kleine schaal beroepsopleidingen in de zuivelmakerij. dit geeft de gehandicapten werkervaring, vaardigheden en zelfvertrouwen, waardoor hun kansen op de arbeidsmarkt enorm toenemen. in 2001 is de stichting opgericht door marjan schamp. inmiddels vinden de beroepsopleidingen plaats in de door de stichting aangeschafte zuivelboerderij in de provincie cuzco, waar naast kaas ook yoghurt en karamelpasta wordt gemaakt. marjan schamp is voorzitter en woont inmiddels weer in nederland. de dagelijkse aansturing vind plaats in peru waarbij marjan een vinger aan de pols houdt. zie voor meer informatie onze site www.wayquisperu.com
