stichting zorgen na coma komt op voor de belangen van patiënten na coma en de naasten van deze patiënten. onze doelstelling is het realiseren van een coma-expertisecentrum en tussen tien en twintig gespecialiseerde revalidatiecentra in nederland, waardoor de volgende patiëntrechten worden gewaarborgd: 1.recht op een kans op behandeling. 2.recht op de best mogelijke diagnose. 3.recht op een passende behandeling, ongeacht leeftijd. 4.recht op doorbehandeling, zolang (zeer zorgvuldige) screening uitwijst dat er vooruitgang wordt geboekt. om dit te bereiken, bewerken wij de publieke en politieke opinie, stimuleren wij zorginstellingen om hun zorg naar een hoger niveau te brengen en gaan daarin actief de samenwerking aan. daarnaast ondersteunen wij onderzoek. zo trekken zorgverleners, mantelzorgers en wetenschappers samen op. samen staan we sterk!
