Stigma Beware

stigma beware is a non profit organisation which is designed to assist those who have had a mental illness to fight the stigma in the real world. beware stigma is an organisation run by peers who have real life experience of mental health issues. we are all aware that professional coverage is available when someone is at crisis point the needs arrive when they leave the therapeutic umbrella and are left to their own devices. intervention on a group or one to one basis is imperative to ensure that we don't fall back into the same situation again. by using a peer group of people from all walks of life enables those who are both close to an episode or have recently come through a dark time the ability to draw from the strength of the group.
